The founders of Olson Excavating are brothers Wyatt and Dylan Olson. Both have over 15 years of experience in the earthwork industry, gaining a diverse background in equipment operation, trucking, utility work and more.
Wyatt began his career in high school, working in the logging industry and road construction learning fundamentals of basic road construction and grading in forestry settings. Wyatt later moving on to work for a large construction company learning the commercial construction industry and large infrastructure work.
Dylan's career began when attending an apprenticeship program for heavy equipment operating. This program taught all the industry standards and fundamentals of operating excavating equipment and performing all manners of heavy construction and dirt work. Dylan went on to complete his apprenticeship and become a journeyman operator and foreman earning him many years of on the job knowledge and experience, completing jobs efficiently and maintaining high quality results
